As of July 2015, Jan de Wit en Zonen B.V. has started activities in the premises of CNB Refrigeration and Preparation Company. The storage and processing of tulip bulbs takes place here. This also took place here on a small scale in 2014, but we have now decided to process all of our tulip bulbs in the CNB facilities, due to changed logistics and a growing demand for storage space. All this is facilitated by a road that connects Jan de Wit en Zonen B.V. to CNB.

After the quality inspection has taken place, the bulbs are transported to the shipping location at the Westeinde via this connection road. The final quality inspection is carried out here, before the bulbs are shipped to worldwide destinations.

Our entrance and exit for freight traffic has also moved to the CNB premises with the realisation of the connection road between Jan de Wit en Zonen B.V. and CNB. As of now, we are accessible for freight traffic via Veilingweg 1 in Bovenkarspel. For all other traffic, we remain accessible via Westeinde 176 in Enkhuizen.
