Following the quality inspection of the tulips, we are currently checking the lilies in our lily test greenhouse. Twice a year, we plant ten bulbs of every lot that is supplied to us in this greenhouse. This allows us to check the quality of the lots, and count how many flowers per stem there are for every lot. This data is put in our administrative system with a scanner, so that it is immediately linked to all other inspections that are carried out upon arrival of the bulbs. In doing so, we are able to select the best lots for our customers.
